Placement Services and Recruitment Firms

This page links to placement services, recruitment firms, and employment agencies that specialize in library, information services, and/or records management positions.  Many of these organizations accept resumes and list current job openings. Some require you to register for their services.  Some of the positions may be permanent, others temporary. Some specialize in executive (director/dean-level) searches. Drexel internship application

iSchool Practicum Applications are NOW Open for FALL Term
The iSchool offers a Practicum that provides the opportunity to gain credit for work experience along with associated academic coursework.  This online course enables a student to use his or her current job or obtain a job/internship in their field of study to earn 3 free elective credits.  Students are responsible for obtaining their practicum jobs.  The course requires 120 hours of work over the 10-week quarter along with online class participation and is offered every quarter.
