National Archives and Records Administration

Student Jobs

Like history? Want to learn more about archives and records management while earning money to help pay for tuition?
They employ hundreds of high school, college, and graduate students each year under these programs:
  • Student Career Experience Program (SCEP)
  • Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP)


Hiring is done directly by different Managers within the agency on an as needed basis.
 
If interested in applying for a STEP position, email your resume to  StudentJobs@nara.gov
 (please include school information).  Your resume will be forwarded to a hiring manager. 
If a position becomes available, you may be contacted directly by a manager.
